Lailite Care and Safety

  1. Prior to burning
your candles, cut the wick to at least ¼”
  2. Light your candle
in a well-ventilated room and on a safety plate or platter. Keep away from
    draught.
  3. For container
candles: the first burn is the most important. Allow the candle to burn until
the top layer is completely melted.
  4. Extinguish your
candle with a snuffer or by dipping your candle into melted wax to avoid wax
spray and reduce smoke. If you dip in the melted wax, mark the wick so it
    stands tall.
  5. Cut the wick before
each burn and also remove all the debris.
  6. For container
candles specifically. If after having carefully followed the first burn tips,
your candle is still tunelling. You can melt the whole surface with a hairdryer
until it is even before the next burn.
  1. Place the candle on a
stable and heat-proof surface, away from flammable objects before lighting.
  2. Never leave a
    burning candle unattended.
  3. Do not burn
continuously for more than 3 or 4 hours depending on the candle size.
  4. Keep candles out of
    reach of children and pets.
